Looking to put a little Boost in your life??

Looking for a little Boost in your Life??
Pocket Boost 4200

Compact in design with your choice of other available models and power to suit your needs, Nextek Energy provides a compact, sleek and modern style charging unit. The Pocket boost 4200 which comes in a choice of 5 Brilliant and business like toned colors will most certainly handle your devices power needs and then some.
I personally have had the pleasure of testing one of these out first hand and can tell you that I will NEVER go without one. During the time of testing, we here in New Brunswick suffered an ice storm in which the power was off in some areas for days. Luckily, thinking ahead I had the notion to charge this tiny wonder in and have it ready. As modern as we are, during a power outage portable phones do not work. Out comes the cellular device, but their battery life is just not the same. This is especially true for the smart phones with all the battery draining options they have.

I used my phone, probably a little more than I should of at the beginning of the outage causing it to drop to about 12%. I remembered at this time that I had the pocket boost and plugged it in. Now to tell you that it’s instant would be pulling the wool over your face as it takes a little while to completely discharge itself into your device, however, it was quite quick at about an hour. I use an iphone 5 and not only did it charge it 100%, it actually had enough in it with my phone being at 12% to bring it up almost another 50% afterwards. The nice thing is that I have a usb car charger so I was able to re-charge the unit while I was able to use my device.
Being the Gadget nut that I am, I tested the pocket boost out on every possible device I have in my possession that it would plug in and power (note that I didn’t find a single one in my collection that it didn’t work for). The great thing about this unit is that it comes with an Apple 30-pin, mini-USB and micro –USB adaptor and allows usage of your devices USB charging cord making it very versatile. Testing it out on the original Ipad, Playbook and Kindle Fire took the power percentage up to 100% while the New Ipad Mini it would charge to between 60 – 70%.

I personally would recommend the Pocket Boost 4200 to anyone in the need for a bit of a recharge as let’s face it, we all need it from time to time. Nextek Energy is very competitively priced for the product against any other quality unit I’ve seen. This will be the third one of these types of chargers I’ve owned, however, the quality and versatility of this unit is leaps and bounds above the rest. Why? It’s not bulky and wide like most are, it does what it is intended to do time after time and doesn’t feel like it will fall apart when holding it or plugging a device into it. I suggest anyone in need of a little extra gumption for their work, home or even children’s device to visit www.nextekenergy.com and, “charge up your life!”

  1. This is a great device and as you say handy not just for fun, but in the case of an emergency as necessity. I too found the Pocket Booster to be great quality and love the colour selection. Great review Matthew thanks for sharing!
